A repeater is a high power, continuous duty Two Way Radio device that is placed on a mountaintop or on top of a tall building. It receives a signal from Mobile Radio or Portable Radio or Base Station, and then broadcasts the signal it at a higher power over a wide area. The repeater helps you to cover larger areas or really tall buildings in cases that you have dead spots or even problems to cover the desired area.
